Stacey uses Freddie for cash in loan shark horror in EastEnders | The Sun
MONEY is getting more scarce in the Slater household, leading Stacey Slater to take desperate action.
The beloved EastEnders character throws herself into danger alongside her cousin, Freddie Slater.
As her daughter Lily faces the ups and downs of pregnancy, Stacey Slater (played by Lacey Turner) tries her best to provide for her family and save money for her grandchild's arrival into the world.
Unfortunately, this has led her to steal a whopping amount of money before eventually returning it out of guilt.
Despite the help provided to her, particularly by Martin Fowler who left the Square for a job in Turkey, Stacey still finds herself strapped for cash in scenes due to air next week on BBC One.
Coming up, the bap van owner is desperate to get her hands on more money but can't understand how Freddie (Bobby Brazier) is so flush.

Later on, she and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) interrupt a clandestine meeting between Freddie and Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) in the launderette back room and get more than they bargained for.
It's revealed that Freddie is in cahoots with Shiv, a dangerous loan shark, and Stacey soon has to help her cousin out of a tough spot.
She's relieved to have the cash for Shiv but when she pays him, the criminal demands another £200 by the following day and threatens violence.
Stacey grows increasingly desperate as she's nowhere near being able to pay Shiv off.
