Strictly Come Dancing 2019: Katya Jones falls over during cheeky Cha Cha with Mike Bushell
Katya Jones and Mike Bushell performed a Cha Cha Cha for Strictly Come Dancing’s Movie Week to It’s Raining Men by The Weather Girls. However during their cheeky routine, Katya slipped over on the dance floor. As the couple moved around the dance floor the professional dancer fell to the floor but then quickly continued on with the performance on the BBC show.
After their performance, Tess Daley remarked: “You slipped didn’t you, slipped on the confetti.”
Katya joked: “He swept me off my feet!”
“Well you never hold back,” Tess added.
The professional dancer went on to explain Mike was not to blame for her fall.

Bruno critiqued: “I know what’s going on, it wasn’t quite magic darling it got nearly tragic for a couple of moments.”
“You went wrong and you nearly dropped her, well you did drop her…”
However Katya interrupted the judge and insisted: “It wasn’t his fault.”
“You are such a nice girl,” an unpersuaded Bruno added.
When Mike and Katya joined Claudia Winkleman to wait for their scores, Katya dramatically fell to the floor for a second time.
Although this time it seemed as if the professional dancer slipped to make fun of her earlier mistake.
Viewers watching the cheeky Cha Cha Cha took to Twitter to comment on the mishap.
One said: “Oh dear Katya’s not having the best night is she?! #Strictly.”
Another added: “I know I shouldn’t laugh but Katya falling at the top of the steps got me like… hope she didn’t hurt herself! #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing.”
“Just goes to show these things can happen to anyone. Katya’s styled it out well though. Hope she’s okay #Strictly,” a third said.
“Is Katya ok??? #Strictly falling over twice in 10 mins ain’t good #Strictly2019,” another tweeted.

Bookmakers have placed the former England goalkeeper as the favourite to leave the competition tomorrow night.
He’s tops the betting at 4-6 and is followed by Mike Bushell at 5-1.
David survived last week’s dance-off against James Cracknell but it looks like he won’t be as lucky this weekend.
Coral’s John Hill said: “David James just about survived the dance-off last weekend, however, our betting suggests he will have no such luck following the latest round of performances as he is odds-on to follow James Cracknell off the show.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns tomorrow at 7.15pm on BBC One
