Strictly fans in hysterics over Shirley Ballas’ reaction as she trips on BBC show: ‘Best thing ever!’
Strictly Come Dancing fans were left in hysterics during Saturday's final as head judge Shirley Ballas almost took a tumble on live TV.
At the start of the episode, Shirley, 61, and the rest of her judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke – were all introduced to the stage as they performed a dance to the judging panel.
However, as Shirley showed off her moves she accidentally tripped and almost took a tumble over during the live final before pulling a hilarious face.
Viewers were quick to take to Twitter over the moment as they called the judge's reaction to almost falling over the "best thing ever".
One person said: "Shirley falling over & making that face is the best thing to happen ever #Strictly."
A different account put: "Shirley nearly tripped over!! #Strictly" followed by laughing emojis.
Another follower commented: "SHIRLEY NEARLY FELL OVER #strictly."
While a different viewer added: "#Strictly Ohh Shirley!!" followed by crying laughing emojis.
Saturday's final will see John Whaite and Johannes Radebe and Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice take to the dance floor one last time in a bid to win the Glitterball trophy.
It comes after AJ made the devastating announcement on 17 Decemberthat she would no longer be taking part in the final due to her painful ankle injury.

The TV presenter, who has wowed the judges all series alongside pro dance partner Kai Widdrington, suffered a devastating blow when she hurt her right ankle.
The pain was so bad that she "projectile vomited" and now AJ cannot stand or put weight on her foot without crutches, leaving her with no choice but to withdraw from the show.
The Strictly Come Dancing Final 2021 will air on Saturday 18 December at 7:10pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
