Susanna Reid stepped in to confront Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain on Monday morning over news that toymakers, Hasbro are officially dropping the title Mr from the popular Potato Head range. The decision sparked a furious rant from Mr Morgan, who held up a Potato Head figurine while mocking claims the toy could be seen as a “symbol of toxic masculinity.”

He continued: “This came out the same time I think the Wonder Woman sequel was being realised.

“Sorry how does that work? How can we have a Wonder Woman but no Mr. Potato Head?

“Piers, Piers,” interjected his co-host.

“Do not worry, don’t let your fragile masculinity be threatened,” said Sussana.

“They are still having Mr Potato Head, no one is getting rid of Mr Potato Head.”

Mr Mogan said: “No one ever campaigns to have Wonderwoman airbrushed do they?

“No one ever says Wonderwoman has to go because men don’t complain about these things.

“It is women that complain about these things, feminists who want to have Mr Potato Head expunged because he is sexist.”
