The Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik leaves fans in tears with throwback pic of co-star Jim Parsons
THE Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik has left fans in tears with a throwback picture of co-star Jim Parsons.
The actress played Amy Farrah Fowler in the hit CBS sitcom alongside Jim, who played her on-screen love-turned-husband Sheldon Cooper.
The show ended in May 2019 after 12 seasons, and fans are still as obsessed with it as ever.
Mayim also seems to keep the show close to her heart and in her thoughts, as over the weekend, she shared a throwback snap of her and Jim – aka Shamy – posing for a selfie in a mirror.
She captioned it "mirror selfie" alongside a geek emoji, while the mirror had equations written on it.
Fans immediately lapped it up, with one writing in the comments: "ugh i miss big bang, love you guys."
Another wrote: "Long live the #ShAmy."
A third tweeted: "Aww you guys make my day happy, when I watch you all in Big Bang. When I feel rubbish and down you guys always make me smile and feel better you help without even knowing it."
Others thought there could be a reason behind Mayim posting that specific picture, with one writing: "Is this a hint?"
Another wrote excitedly: "IS THIS OUR CLUE".
Earlier this year Mayim gave Big Bang fans hope the show will return, telling Hollywood Life: "Because we just finished, it’s kind of hard to think about [a] reunion or reboot.
"I’m a happy Warner Bros employee, I have a production company there.
"Anything more Warner Bros would like, I’m pretty much available. So, don’t have to ask me twice!"
