Anne Hegerty accused host Bradley Walsh of helping contestants get a leg up on Thursday's episode of The Chase.
The Governess pointed the finger of blame at Brad, who quickly protested his innocence.
He looked shocked as he was accused of deliberately emphasising a word in the question to give the player a hint. But fearsome Anne refused to back down after noticing something wasn't quite right.
She chuckled as former Coronation Street star Bradley made a joke of it but it was clear she wasn't impressed.

Contestant Cally went head-to-head with Chaser Anne but things took a turn.
Bradley asked her: "A 2018 set of stamps featuring which London palace depicts the 'Pond Gardens', 'Great Fountain Gardens', and 'Maze'?
Anne said he emphasised the word "maze" – and also believes he leaned over and looked at bemused Cally.
The three options were Lambeth Palace, Hampton Court Palace, and Kensington Palace.

He added: "This helps you out if you're from London, of course. You've put Hampton Court Palace."
Contestant Cally replied: "Yes, I know there's a maze there, so…"
The host responded to her: "Yep, absolutely, yep, well played," as they were given the correct answer.
But Anne smelt a rat.
"I love extremely the subtle way you went 'MAZE', Just to make sure she knew it," she said before imitating Bradley leaning over to the player.
Shocked Bradley squirmed: "I didn't!"
"Yes you did!" accused Anne.
"I didn't do that! I didn't do that, I do not do that, I didn't do that did I? Did you hear me do that?" Bradley protested.
Viewers were torn about the claims and took to twitter to make their point.
"#TheChase yup, there was a noticeable emphasis on the word "MAZE" one wrote.
"Bradley, that's cheating!! #TheChase," another threw in.
But one user didn't see much wrong, saying: "He always does that anne #TheChase."
