A TikTok star has sparked a crisis for The Masked Singer by proving Sausage is chart star Joss Stone.

Matthew Seaman makes videos where he talks about how all the clues point to the chart star Joss Stone, best known for her 2003 single You Had Me, being the celebrity inside the costume.

And he has now racked up more than a million views.

His success is likely to mean less people tune in to watch tonight’s final, according to insiders.

A show source said: “People tune in for The Masked Singer because they want to find out who the mystery celebrities are.

“But now Matthew’s elaborate and detailed investigation basically confirms the identity of Sausage, it’s possible a lot of people will feel they don’t need to watch the final.

“He’s had a million views, so that’s a lot of people who might not bother to watch anymore. This is a nightmare for ITV.”

Matthew is amazed at how many people have watched his videos.

He told the Daily Star: “To think a million people have seen my videos is both hilarious and wonderful. The reaction to my little theory has been crazy.”

In recent weeks Matthew has studied hours of footage from The Masked Singer to work out which celebrity is Sausage.

New clues he has spotted include the red, white and blue fireworks seen in one of the character’s VTs, which he thinks are a reference to Joss previously performing at the Macy’s 4th of July event.

A little dragon was also shown, which looks likely to be a reference to her role in fantasy film Eragon.

And Sausage always performs wearing jeans, which links with Joss once advertising for fashion giant Gap.

Many fans have guessed names including Sheridan Smith and Stacey Solomon, but Matthew is convinced they are wrong.

The identity of Sausage will finally be revealed on the show in tonight’s final, which is at 7pm on ITV.
