TOWIE’S Olivia Attwood likes tweets saying she’s keeping co-stars in a job

Olivia Attwood has certainly made her mark on TOWIE after becoming a regular cast member on the show's 25th series.

The former grid girl, who shot to fame on Love Island 2017, already ended up in hot water with the programme's executives over a heated row with co-star Courtney Green.

Olivia was cautioned after she pelted Courtney with olives during a tense stand-off in a Marbella bar.

And her confrontational actions have been slammed by her fellow TOWIE cast member for "lowering the tone" of the show.

However, judging by the slew of viewers' reactions on social media, many have linked the rising TOWIE audience figures to Olivia's appearances.

One penned: "Not being funny but the only reason TOWIE has gone back up in viewings is because of Olivia Attwood. Now all the dead ass cast are selling stories and opinions on her. Hun, she's keeping you in a job."

"This Olivia Attwood 'bullying' bulls**t is annoying. It’s called having an argument with somebody! It happens sometimes when people don’t get on," a second added.

While a third put: "I actually love Olivia being in TOWIE, would be so boring without her, Pete Wicks and Chloe Sims."

And Olivia agreed with the above sentiments as she was caught liking all of the posts on her Twitter account.

Despite the positive feedback, the TOWIE cast lamented her behaviour including Courtney's close pal Chloe Meadows, who labelled Olivia "trashy" during an interview with MailOnline.

She said: "It is a shame that there are people like Olivia that have no class and that are lowering the tone.

"She may not like being called trashy but then she should act with some class. Her behaviour has been trashy."

Meanwhile, Pete Wicks admitted Olivia is "one of the best things to ever happen to the show" and is "TV gold".

TOWIE airs on Sundays on ITVBe.
