What Shannon And David Beador’s Relationship Is Like Today

Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County are used to seeing their favorite cast members get divorced. Whether it’s cast member Braunwyn Windham-Burke coming out and still co-parenting with her husband or Vicki Gunvalson’s shocking split, the tides seem to always be changing in these Southern California relationships.

RHOC star Shannon Beador is no exception — although it’s safe to say her breakup was far less rocky. Shannon parted ways with husband David Beador in 2017 after struggling to come to terms with David’s infidelity. The Beadors were married for 17 years and even had a vow renewal ceremony in 2016 after going to marriage counseling. “I will do whatever it takes to keep my family together,” Shannon said on RHOC during the Season 10 premiere, as reported by People. The couple are parents to three daughters: Sophie and twins Stella and Adeline.

“As a mother, I want to be a good role model for my daughters,” Shannon revealed to People in 2017. “I was proud of what I showed them, because I fought for keeping my family together after infidelity [but] clearly I was in denial about what was going on in my marriage…Not only is it unhealthy for me, but it’s unhealthy for my girls too.”

Shannon hinted that David wasn’t ready to give up his cheating ways, and RHOC costar Vicki even accused David of being physically abusive to Shannon. The couple officially divorced in 2018. So what is their relationship like now? Keep scrolling to find out!

Shannon Beador has buried the hatchet with ex David Beador

Both Shannon Beador and ex-husband David Beador have moved on since their split. Per Us WeeklyShannon wed single father John Janssen in October 2020. David similarly tied the knot with Lesley Cook in 2019. The couple welcomed a daughter in February 2021. Guess who even sent a baby gift? Shannon, of course!

“I sent [a gift] with the kids [we share] so I don’t know how [David feels about it],” Shannon told Us Weekly. She previously revealed that David “doesn’t want” to talk to her, but she’s “come to accept it” since he’s starting a new family.

While Shannon may not be expanding her family anytime soon, she definitely also has a new “baby”: the launch of vitamin supplement line Lemon-Aid Daily. Her husband John has reportedly helped with the structure of the business, and Shannon is also studying to be a certified health coach. “I really committed to myself in 2021 to take back my health,” Shannon continued. “I’ve always tried to live a holistic lifestyle…I want to learn as much as I can.”

Seems like she’s on the right track with David out of her life!
