When is the next Love Island 2019 recoupling? Who will new girls Elma Pazar and Maura Higgins pick?
LOVE Island stars must win over their fellow Islanders and the public to stay in the competition and win the £50,000 prize money.
If they are lucky enough to couple up with a cast member they remain in the contest, but if they are single they risk leaving the villa. Here’s a roundup of who’s partnered with who…
When was the last Love Island re-coupling?
The latest re-coupling took place on Friday, June 7, 2019, with the girls choosing which boy they wanted to couple up with.
With only six female contestants and seven single men, one islander was subsequently sent home during the process.
Callum Macleod was the first islander to be eliminated from the competition after failing to secure a partner.
Speaking after his elimination, the 28-year-old said: “It’s unfortunate that I didn’t meet anyone that I connected with but I had such good fun in there.
“Even though I didn’t meet anyone that I could potentially be with on the outside, I loved it, which is a great bonus.”
Who are the Love Island 2019 couples?
Love Island 2019 had its first major shake-up when the women got to choose who they wanted to couple up with last week, ultimately eliminating one islander.
The girls made their choices on June 7, shocking ITV viewers with their decisions.
Lucie and Joe
Lucie Donlan had initially be torn between Tommy Fury and Joe Garratt but finally made her decision on who she wanted to pursue a romance with.
During Friday night's recoupling, the Cornish surfer chose delivery man Joe over the 20-year-old boxing professional.
But fans of the show were not impressed with her decision and ranted about the moment online.
Nevertheless, Joe was pleased she choose him and was seen locking lips with the blonde bombshell soon after.
Amber and Anton
We all knew beauty therapist Amber Gill was not keen on aircraft engineer Callum, but very few could have predicted she would pick Anton Danyluk over him.
Yet that was the case, with her gushing about the gym owner before she announced she would be choosing him.
It comes after she brutally branded Callum "boring" and called him old, despite him only being seven years her senior.
Amy and Curtis
Amy Hart, 26, and hunky ballroom professional Curtis, cemented their title as Love Island's golden couple.
AJ Pritchard's younger brother was picked by the air hostess in the latest recoupling.
The twosome certainly looked pleased to be paired up again as they could not stop grinning.
Yewande and Michael
Scientist Yewande originally seemed unimpressed when Michael told her: "We can get on and have a bit of a laugh" when they were first coupled up.
However, she decided to remain a couple with the 23-year-old firefighter, despite previously admitting to liking Curtis.
A romance seemed promising at first, however, when new boy Danny Williams entered the villa her head was well and truly turned.
In fact, after the 23-year-old went on a date with the hunky 21-year-old male model she admitted to liking him.
Anna and Sherif
Despite Anna previously umming and ahing about whether she and Sherif Lanre make a good match, she still decided to pick him.
The pharmacist stuck with the handsome former semi-professional rugby player after he admitted he "really likes" her.
What's more, the raven-haired beauty complimented him on his toned physique – much to Sherif's delight.
Then on Sunday, June 10, 2019 the pair shared their first real kiss, following a steamy dance session.
The twosome locked lips after Anna twerked on him during a villa party in the sixth episode.
On Friday, June 12, 2019 it was exclusively revealed to The Sun that Sherif has been removed from the villa after breaking the rules.
Tommy and Molly-Mae
Newcomer Molly-Mae had her pick of the boys, as Tommy and Anton both showed an interest in her.
However, she decided to go with Tyson Fury's younger brother, following their hot tub date.
The social media influencer and Tommy, both 20, previously traded compliments when they were in the Hideaway.
Since then she has revealed she fancies newcomer Danny, describing him as "baby daddy material".
Which Love Island contestants are single?
New arrival Danny Williams is yet to couple up with any of the women in the villa.
Yet, the 21-year-old model has his eye on Yewande and Amber, with him inviting them both out on a date.
Showing an interest in Yewande, prior to entering the villa, he told The Daily Star: "From what I can gather from what I've seen so far, I think Yewande ticks a lot of boxes.
"She strikes me as someone who is very intelligent and is quite independent.
"We're all in there looking for love, but she's her own woman and doesn't seem to be playing games or have any tactics, which I find attractive."
