Her work was later celebrated at a 25-year anniversary event at the Victoria and Albert Museum in 2013.

She has just published a book, titled How to Make a Dress, in which she says: “The Wedding dress is, indeed, a garment suffused with emotion.

“It begins to take form in childhood daydreams and later becomes the souvenir of an unforgettable day, a symbol of hope and victorious love.

“And from this, I dare to steal a little creative immortality for myself.”

Her wedding dress designs have been selected by huge names, including Andy Murray’s wife Kim.

She chose a bespoke Swarovski crystal-encrusted gown, in ivory, which featured a full skirt and elbow-length sparkly sleeves.

Speaking to Glamour UK, Jenny opened up about how she found work amid the coronavirus pandemic.

She said: “We’ve been in a very scary world for the last year. Before we launched our new collection, I thought very much about the people that are suffering but I think I can offer a positive statement about escapism.

“I’m surprised at how much evening-wear we have sold during this time, considering people haven’t got anywhere to go! But I think they’re buying ahead, thinking optimistically about the future.”

Her brother Chris will be featuring in his new show on Wednesday, July 28, in which he explains the importance of nature to wellbeing.

He will use a hand-held 360-degree camera to follow one of the oldest waterways in the country.
