Kidada Ann Jones is a 48-year-old American actress, model, and fashion designer.

She is the daughter of record producer Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton.

She began working as a celebrity stylist for her father's publication Vibe magazine.

In 1995, she gained attention when she styled Michael Jackson for the cover of Vibe.

She was then recruited by designer Tommy Hilfiger, where she spent eight years working for him.

Since 2005, Jones works as a designer for The Walt Disney Company, where she has a line called Kidada for Disney Couture.

Was Kidada Jones engaged to Tupac Shakur?

Tupac met Kidada while he was still married to his first wife Keisha Morris-Shakur.

But once their marriage was annulled, Tupac proposed a few months later.

How did Kidada Jones and Tupac meet?

Kidada and Tupac's relationship got off to a rocky start.

Tupac made some nasty remarks about her dad, composer Quincy Jones in a 1993 interview for Source Magazine, claiming he had messed his kids up by only having sex with white women, according to the Washington Post.

A few years later, In 1995, Tupac and Kidada met inside a club, and when they met for a second time he apologised for his comments and gave his phone number.

It was only a matter of time until Tupac was expressing his love and desire to make Kidada his wife.

What has Kidada Jones said on Tupac's death?

Kidada wrote in her father's autobiography that Tupac was "the love of her life".

“He and I lived together for four months and then he was murdered in Las Vegas in 1996.

"It was the most horrible thing that ever happened to me.”

On the night of Tupac's death, Kidada was in the hotel room the couple were meant to be staying in when she received the call that he had been shot.

She was handed his blood-stained clothes at the hospital and told her fiancé had lost all blood pressure on arrival.

“Do you know I love you?” Kidada said to him, as he lay in the hospital bed. “Do you know we all love you?”

Tupac nodded before he fell into a final coma.

Kidada wrote later on in the autobiography that she knew both of them should have never gone to Las Vegas.

"I had a horrible feeling about it. I’ve gone over it in my mind a million times. It wasn’t supposed to happen. We weren’t supposed to be there.

"It was the worst possible thing that could’ve happened – I still to this day don’t know who shot him."
