Who left the Masked Singer 2022 last night?

ITV’S The Masked Singer returned for episode two of the third season last night (January 2).

With more crazy costumes and performances from the Masked Singers, one contestant had to wave goodbye – find out here who it was.

Who left the Masked Singer 2022 last night?

Six mystery celebs battled it out last night including Bagpipes, Rockhopper, Poodle, Panda, Snow Leopard and Traffic Cone – this means one more celeb was unmasked.

The losing celebrity was Snow Leopard who turned out to be TV presenter and broadcaster Gloria Hunniford.

She most recently appeared as a panelist on Loose Women, and was the second celebrity to be eliminated from The Masked Singer UK.

Gloria left most of the judging panel stunned as she revealed herself.

However, judge Jonathan Ross managed to guess her identity correctly.

Talking to presenter Joel Dommett after she was unmasked, she revealed that she started singing since she was seven years old but “hate to tell you it was pre-television day and hadn't sung on a stage in something like 27 years”.

“I couldn’t believe it when I was asked to take part,” the 81-year-old explained.

“I’m of a certain age and it was a challenge. It sounded like a lot of fun and I thought I’d try it.”

She finished by saying: “Even to this day only three people in my family know, you get to the point that you are so afraid of mentioning it that as time passes, you look back and think “did I actually do that?”
